The Brief

Transform Minneapolis’ most anticipated gala into an immersive, joy-filled spectacle. Engage guests with a seamless flow through multiple spaces, surprise them with theatrical performances, and center the night around celebration, generosity, and imagination.​

What I Did

I created a wildly whimsical world where every corner held a new surprise. Guests wandered through an Art Nouveau portal, into an underwater lounge, through a hidden garden, and ended the night in a lucid dreamscape of color and sound. Live performances popped up throughout the evening, designed to feel spontaneous and magical. Every detail—from flow to lighting to interactive moments—was carefully crafted to keep guests engaged, curious, and delighted at every turn.​

 

The Vibe

Think boozy libraries, surprise butterfly sightings, 20,000 pieces of confetti, and a hotline that let you “Call Cher.” Guests in ball gowns and tuxes danced in a conga line 'til the lights came up. Laughter, awe, and joy filled the room—and by the end of the night, over $1 million was raised to support youth access to the arts.
