The Brief
Design a gala that feels fresh and contemporary while honoring the legacy of the opera — an experience compelling enough to attract a younger audience, especially with the afterparty open to the public.

What I Did
I reimagined tradition by blending classic elements — busts, candelabras, and lush florals — with futuristic touches like neon, chrome, and LED. The design struck a careful balance: respectful of longtime supporters while bold and modern enough to excite new audiences. I followed this through to tablescapes, signage and every element guests would interact with.

The Vibe
The night felt electric. Legacy guests were captivated, and younger attendees experienced the opera in a completely new and engaging way. A redefined gala — timeless with a twist.
